Angelina Jolie is currently hard at work on the promo trail for her directorial debut, In the Land of Milk and Honey: cue a series of glamorous floor-length gowns, generally in one-colour, and generally involving little-to-no embellishment, print, flounce or fuss.
It’s safe to say she’s got a red carpet formula and she’s well and truly sticking to it.
But then, when the result is that she looks like this, you would, wouldn’t you?

The actress-turned-director made an appearance at the Sarajevo premiere last night, wearing this beautiful black gown from Versace, with full sheer skirt and wide shoulder-grazing neckline.
A soft chignon, immaculate makeup and gold droplet earrings completed the utterly elegant look.
Boring, predictable and unadventurous she may be (stylishly speaking, we mean) – but there’s no denying she looks pretty darn amazing.
