Fashionista football boots? Iris Van Herpen’s spiked heels

 

Imagine that Lady Gaga or Daphne Guinness or Anna Dello Russo played football, this would be EXACTLY the shoes that they tottered around the pitch in.

The shoes, which we are dubbing ‘fashionista football boots’ are sadly not in preparation for a couture five-a-side match, but are part of the Iris Van Herpen Spring/Summer 2012 couture collection.

As you can see they come in a whole variety of colours and finishes but we’re assuming we will be seeing them on one of the aforementioned fashion fans before the season is out. Anyone fancy a quid on Lady Gaga showing up to the Grammys in one of the plain pairs on the right hand side?
